  • BHAID -Your 7 digit BHAID is created when an employee is onboarded at a Berkshire Hathaway Automotive consulted store. This ID is your username whenever trying to log into BHAPD.com Currently, all BHAIDs start with the numeral '1'.
  • BHAPD - Berkshire Hathaway Automotive Professional Development. The goal of our Professional Development team is to assist our dealer partners through the continual and long-term development of their team members. We provide industry leading training in all facets of the automotive industry, online, in the classroom, and on location at our dealerships from coast to coast.
  • BHAPD.com - BHAPD's LMS, a website allowing anyone within a BHA partner dealership to access BHAPD's learning content.
  • Calendar - The third link on the top bar of BHAPD.com. Any live classroom sessions within the current month can easily be seen at-a-glance. Due to system limitations, courses with multiple days such as Sales Excellence, only have the first day is listed.
  • Class - Old nomenclature for the courses that Professional Development offers.
  • Classroom - A traditional classroom session facilitated by BHAPD.
  • Course - New word for the classes that Professional Development offers. Generally speaking, most Learners can begin engaging with the online learning materials immediately after being hired and attend a classroom course session after being registered by a store manager.
  • Learner - The default role given by the BHAPD LMS. Anyone associated with a BHA dealership may become a learner and get involved in BHAPD learning.
  • LMS - Learning Management System. A website dedicated to easily accessing BHAPD's learning content. Can be used interchangeably with BHAPD.com.
  • Manager - A special store role given by the BHAPD LMS above a Learner, who can reset passwords, run reports on their learners, and so on.
  • My Progress - The first link on the top bar of BHAPD.com. It lists any programs and courses that have been registered for and have not yet been completed. If there is an upcoming session for a course, a reminder may be listed.Program - A collection of Courses.
  • Reports - On the Manager Role, Tracking becomes a page to run various reports. For more info., view the reports walk-through [Link not yet available].
  • Roadshow - Any course session that is not at a BHAPD Training Center. Almost exclusively on location at a partner dealership.
  • Role - The level of access the BHAPD LMS will allow. Most users are simply Learners. Certain "Power Users" have access to a Manager role. These users may need to switch between their roles depending on the task necessary. This can be done in the top right corner of a page on BHAPD.com.
  • Session - New nomenclature for the classes that Professional Development offers at a BHAPD Training Center unless, of course, it is a Roadshow.
  • Report Card - The fifth link on the top bar of BHAPD.com. For Learners it lists the progress for courses & resources that have been started over the last 365 days. When that year is up that information is moved to the Transcript link permanently. Learners can also view grades and print certificates. For Manager Tracking see reports.
  • Training Catalog - The second link on the top bar of BHAPD.com. This page shows all available programs and courses to the learner. Sometimes referred to as the Course Catalog.
  • Training Center - BHAPD maintains 2 full-time training centers for live classroom course sessions: Irving, TX & Phoenix, AZ.
  • Transcript- Permanent record of BHAPD Training. Located within Report Card.
